About Wild Ones Consulting

Caitlin Lyons is the founder of Wild Ones Consulting and brings over 15 years of experience in education. She holds a Master’s in Teaching from the University of Washington and has served in a range of roles, including classroom teacher, Dean of Students, Assistant Principal, outdoor education trip leader, and instructional coach. Through this diverse experience, Caitlin has developed a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities within school communities and is committed to supporting educators and school leaders through strong relationships and customized, responsive support.

Caitlin’s areas of expertise include middle school education, cultivating belonging through community-building curriculum, facilitating courageous conversations, and implementing brain-based teaching practices such as Universal Design for Learning. She brings both warmth and clarity to her work, helping school teams build the kind of culture where all students—and adults—can thrive.
